Cunny Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 I have just started doing this and it pumps the hands up nice (makes em feel healthy),but I am only snapping puny stuff. Any tips on technique .......I know speed is crucial but what is best ....short sweeps or wide as possible when opening and closing the bar? Quote
Tim71 Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 I've only broken one 60d and it was braced. I learned something (possibly) though. I think doing something that makes a little sharper "V" would go more quickly. The 60d I broke didn't concentrate the heat into a small enough area quickly enough and it seems like it took me forever to get it. So even though CRS may be harder, I almost wonder if it wouldn't break with fewer strokes. I do think longer pumps or strokes would be better but my experience is very limited. Tim Quote
JoeGrip Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 Search DanPraydis's videos he could snap a red. Quote

amaury Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 I have only been doing this for a few months but i recently noticed that fast sweeps followed by a cool down made the bolts snap quicker... Seemingly! (i have not precisely measured that effect). Quote
