wscorpion Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 Yesterday I've bent the 13.5" and that one went down pretty easily, so the 13" should be easy as well IMO Well, it's sunday morning, just after breakfast, still sleepy and still sore legs from yesterdays bends, but I had to try: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VcmE8SUYawc I'm sure if it would have waited until I was fit again it went down a lot easier then now, so I already cut a 12.5" (31.8cm) bar which I'm going to try when I'm fit again My shortterm goal is the 12" version, my longterm goal is the 10" which will probably take a little longer to achieve Still I'm happy with the result today, I didn't feel like bending at all, but finished it anyways.... gazza Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 Mark Another nice bend mate keep on knocking them out No "LIMITS" Sometimes when your really tired from previous workouts/sessions those are the best because it forces the body and mind to get out of there comfort zones which in the end makes the body adapt and get stronger. Thanks mate! And yes I know, but at that moment it just doesn't feel right I have some nice sore spots on my legs now, but I feel they're more of a nice souvenir then a problem Quote Mark Vogels -------------------- "Whether you think you can or you can't, you're right."

Tim Thanks mate!!! btw, why don't you send your 11.75" vid to David for certification? You've got it earlier then I will, so it's only fair for you to be on top on the list for that bend. And I WILL get it And please bend the 10" version again and tape it, It would be a nice trophy for yourself and I'd love to see and learn from it Quote Mark Vogels -------------------- "Whether you think you can or you can't, you're right."
Tim71 Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 Mark, Thanks a bunch! I did the 11.75 inch bend before David's list so I didn't caliper it on video or measure the length before I bent it. The bend was well within the limit and it's under 2.5 inches but the other 2 things make it not legal for David's list. I've tried the 9.5 inch a couple times and the video was rolling but she was a no-go. I'll get it again hopefully but I'll have to be on the money for that bend again (10 incher I mean). I'm trying not to become obessessed with getting there first though like I did with the FBBC 80d nail bend. If you get the 8, 10 or 12 first then you've earned it. Great job again on those latest bends. Tim Quote

The 12 inch however should be reachable within a fairly short time frame. But you've bend the 11.75", then why won't you bend it again? If you can bend the 10", then the 11.75 would be a piece of cake for you Perhaps, if I'm able to make it, I will compete in the bending challenge that David holds on the 8th of September in the UK. I'm sure it is quite an experience to bend under pressure and it's nice to finally meet people who share the same interest Quote Mark Vogels -------------------- "Whether you think you can or you can't, you're right."
