Drawn steel is CRS i assume your referring to B&Q stock.

Yep, Gazza is right. B&Q list their steel rods as 'drawn steel', if this is where you are looking. I've found this to be a bit easier than fbbc stock (imo).

cheers

B&Q drawn steel [CRS] is all over the place as regards consistency ive had 8mms[5/16"] from them that was both easier and harder than an fbbc bastard bar there 6mms drawn square is way easier than a bastard square.

B&Q stuff is fine if your stuck and cannot get much steel but its very expensive and the range is crap altho there 10mms drawn CRS is a nice tough steel.

I would search out a local steel supplier and ask what HRS and CRS they have i can advise you here if you like just pm or email me if your really stuck then a couple of meters of the B&Q drawn is fine otherwise stay away.
