Autolupus Posted June 19, 2007 Posted June 19, 2007 Got this bend but found it tough. Nail bend. Does anyone know, roughly, where abouts this might be, how close to a bastard? I should have some stock coming soon but am having to use shortening as a progression at the moment. I reckon this is about my limit at the mo! I won't be touching the 4"s for at least a few days! antarath Posted June 19, 2007 Posted June 19, 2007 (edited) Very nice!! 6.40 mm at 4.5" length is very good. In my opinion, any steel at that lenght is hard to bend. I can never get me hands on that darn thing Luvvley jubberly! It looked a bit springy. Was it? Mats Edited June 19, 2007 by Mats Erik Quote Real name: Mats Erik Engelsvoll
vikingsrule92 Posted June 19, 2007 Posted June 19, 2007 Great bend, especially reverse. You can't really compare it to a bastard due to the difference in length but my guess is that would calibrate somewhere around 400-450 lbs. depending on how tough your stock is. Quote

Autolupus Posted June 20, 2007 Author Posted June 20, 2007 Cheers. It looked a bit springy. Was it? I suppose it was a little springy but I think most of what you saw was just me trying to hold onto the damn thing! Quote Mike Mackenzie. Luceo non uro.
