wscorpion Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 (edited) Hi guys, as most of you will probably have the same problem, I do not have a blob to train with. I've decided to start lifting a 2kg plate with a diameter of 6" on which I attach other plates for making it heavier. I've created a vid of such a lift of 19kg's (43lbs), not sure whether it is comparable to a blob and if it has any turnover. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T61IT5cU1g4 Please let me know what you think of it and if it would be better to get a wooden block with the blob dimensions or that this would suffice as well. btw, my hands are 7" wide, so anything wider then this 2kg plate would be too wide to grab. Thanks. - Mark Edited June 14, 2007 by White Scorpion Quote Mark Vogels -------------------- "Whether you think you can or you can't, you're right."
wscorpion Posted June 15, 2007 Author Posted June 15, 2007 Your hands are 7" WIDE? or long. dunno how you would call it English isn't my native language.... From wrist to the top of my middle finger is 7", if that makes more sense btw, I mean carry over instead of turnover Quote Mark Vogels -------------------- "Whether you think you can or you can't, you're right."
knyaz Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 yea thats not a bad idea at all, it will definately carry over to Blobs Quote Steve Pekarskiy
