liam.mccaffrey Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 how much more difficult would people say it is to restart frozen bars? i have recently finished a red i got to 90º when i first started bending them, and i would say it felt more like a piece of hex certainly a good bit harder than a new bastard. also is stainless different, is it more difficult to restart? i have been stuck on a shiny at 2 3/8" fo a while, i got it down to crushing distance fairly quickly but im thinking i might actually stand a chance at getting a hot bar. at least getting closer to 2" what are peoples opinions? ox3782 Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 It definatley depends on the material and how wiped out your are or warmed up.The thing with stainless is it work hardens so just about anything you do with it it hardens up bend it cut etc. That is why stainless is so hard on the crush because the more you bend it the harder it becomes mean stuff. gazza Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 Like brendan said stainless work hardens thats why i like it so much always puts up a fight which ultimately makes you stronger use it for isos as well then when it starts moving you know that crs dont stand a chance. liam.mccaffrey Posted June 11, 2007 Author Posted June 11, 2007 the shiny im woking on is tough. i can feel im half a whisker from it moving it. when im crushing it im taking all the spring out of it and i know its about to go. I can hold full power for a lot longer since ive started isos curious gaz, how would you suggest i structure my iso training? im just doing a few holds at the end of sessions at the moment Quote
