apdwler Posted July 30, 2002 Posted July 30, 2002 Next time you are at the grocery store pinch grip a 12/24 pack and carry it to your car. Be sure to pay for it first:) The 12 is easy. I haven't had the $$ for a 24 lately, but it would likely still be fairly easy. Of course, for kicks, you could park a mile or two away! Quote
Guest Jay Ansuini Posted July 30, 2002 Posted July 30, 2002 Funny you mention that. My Mom and Dad drink Diet Coke/Pepsi like it's going out of style. Consequently, when my Mom goes shopping she gets literally 6-8 12 packs of it. I don't let anyone else carry it in, I pinch one in each hand (sometimes one on top of the other for more weight) and slowly walk them in the house. Either that or I will stack a few and carry them in with the supporting pinch grip (like that stacked brick exercise). I didn't know anyone else did that. Quote
AnimalCage Posted July 30, 2002 Posted July 30, 2002 My wife's BDCC (Blood Diet-Coke Content) must be near 50%. We buy the 24-packs constantly. Correction: I buy the 24-packs constantly because she doesn't want to lift them. And yes, it is a great exercise to carry them in all manner of supporting/pinch grip. In fact, a trip to the grocery store can be a veritable grip-fest. OldGuy Posted July 30, 2002 Posted July 30, 2002 In England pinch also means to steal. So to the guys over there watch out what you are pinching and don't get caught. Quote Not afraid to ruffle feathers!
Nathan Say Posted July 30, 2002 Posted July 30, 2002 I do that for at least 4-5 hours when I work. I've unloaded 300 12 packs is 40mins by hand, every one with a pinch grip. We don't have flats so I can't do anything with those. The only 24 packs we carry are cubes, which are like 2 12 packs, one on top of each other, as opposed to flats which are like 2 12 packs next to each other. Quote

Sybersnott Posted July 31, 2002 Posted July 31, 2002 In certain circles in America, when you get "pinched" it means you got arrested. You can pinch, but don't get "pinched"!!
