Tim71 Posted June 9, 2007 Posted June 9, 2007 I've wanted to try a 12 incher for a while (adjustable wrench that is) and I started to go with a slightly easier brand but this wrench was a lifetime guaranteed one and was thicker and just plain ol' looked better. This ranked as one of my toughest bends but I know you don't see alot of 12 inch "crescent" style wrenches being bent so it was worth it. I did get it on video but the tape ran out before I could show a close up. It took several minutes as I got dreadfully hot doing this thing. Here's a couple pics: 12 inch adjustable 12 inch at top with it's troops That's another milestone been down. Many to go. Tim Quote
vikingsrule92 Posted June 9, 2007 Posted June 9, 2007 WOW that's a lot of wrenches. Another great bend Tim. Quote
gazza Posted June 9, 2007 Posted June 9, 2007 Tim I think that at the rate you,Chris and Mats are pushing the braced bending the standards are going to go way high over the next 12mths its nice to have some goals/targets/standards to aim for and i look forward to one day trying to attain these standards that you guys are setting No :LIMITS: mate and a big congrats on that 10inch Wrench its a beauty Quote "There he goes. One of gods own prototypes. A high powered mutant of some kind never ever considered for mass production.Too weird to live and too rare to die."
Tim71 Posted June 10, 2007 Author Posted June 10, 2007 Thanks! Gazza, I suspect you'll scream to the top like anything else you do. I'm really enjoying these odd bends. I like doing the steel and such but it's nice to mix it up and do some interesting things too. This forged tool steel is something different to bend. Problem with a wrench this big was wrapping it. The head especially is awkward it's so big. Tim Quote
nickr104 Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 I am really bad at wrenches. I need to try and get better. nice job Tim! Quote Nick RosendaulI am a Upser"I slept with John Eaton and lived to tell about it!"
