Just a few here and there. If I have time I'll keep a log. Otherwise it doesn't matter at all in the end. I don't plan on pulling anything stupendous out of my grip hat. But I'll at least train a bit so I don't totally embarrass myself. I'm bending DU now.

On the 6th I bent a Grand Shiny Bastard in 1 minute and 55 seconds. New PR. Also the day I switched to DU.

Also on that day I pulled 340 on the vbar with my left hand. Right shoulder was coming out of socket around 230+ so I stopped.

----------

BENDING-DU-LEATHER PADS

-11 pieces of 1/4"X7" CRS. All bent to at least 40 degrees within the 30 second time limit. Everything else is the same unless listed.

-1 piece of 1/4"X6" CRS.

-4 pieces of 1/4"X7" Drill Rod (O-1).

-1 piece of 1/4"X7" Stainless.

-1 piece of 1/4"X6.5" Stainless.

-1 piece of 1/4"X6" Stainless.

-1 piece of 1/4"X5" Stainless.

-5 pieces of 1/4"X7" Hex.

-11 Hard 60D Nails.

-5 Easy 70D Nails.

Notes: Good volume workout. My DU strength is down yet again. Oh well. Not worried about it at this point.

Bending now about 2 or sometimes 3 times per week all DU now.

Today I had my first good workout since the first few (easy) Bastard bends DU.

-1/4"X7" CRS to warmup.

Then did the rest of the workout. None of the bends were longer than 7 seconds.

-9/32"X7" Drill Rod to under (tighter) 90 degrees.

-9/32"X6.5" Drill Rod to under 90 degrees.

-9/32"X6" Drill Rod to almost 90 degrees.

-9/32"X5.5" Drill Rod to 65 degrees.

-9/32"X5" Drill Rod to 56 degrees in 4 seconds...flat out moving for me.

A few short workouts since the last update.

Nothing big and only managed to kink a Bastard to @10 degrees. So I'm overtraining apparently. Still okay strong on the short stuff because I finished that failed workout with a 4" Grade 5 to a bit past 40 degrees.

Today's DU bending with the usual thinner leather pads:

-Easy 60D Nail

-Hard 60D Nail

-6" Grade 5

-6" Grade 8

Notes: Not bad really. But still not where I was a month ago.
