JNEL582 Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 i thought you smoked that thing easier than the bastard and boy did you battle that brass i can only imagine how crazy that was Quote
JoeGrip Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 Awesome bend How does that stuff stack up against the the tuff reds? Quote
ox3782 Posted June 9, 2007 Author Posted June 9, 2007 Well I have not bent a new red but have bent the New bastards which cal'd at 450lbs so I would say less than I expected on the kink and a bit stiifer on the crush comparably.Neither of these were competition for the crush or kink on the 3/8 Brass. I was completely in awe of how difficult the brass was I almost lost my lunch after that battle. Brendan Quote Brendan Dwyer | 6'1" | 204lbs | 7 7/8 inch hand
neilkaz Posted June 9, 2007 Posted June 9, 2007 Brendan..I hope that drill rod was older than 18, or else you're in a heap of trouble since you raped it ! Your technique is superb and I trust you won't mind me sharing this vid with friends whom I am trying to get into DO bending ! I wish I had a somewhat longer upper arm and was as flexible as you and could so nicely get well under my neck. How much harder is the O-1 when compared to the Bastard you bent ? Anyhow..it is time for you to become a Hexabastard or even a Shiny Bastard and likely with the stuff less than 7". Keep bending..you have superb potential :bow .. neilkaz .. Quote

Well Thank you very much Funny how just a few weeks ago I was'nt even close with this form I used to bend much lower and I thought I was incapable of this but I had some strong inspiration to change. So I gave it another shot about two weeks or so ago and I nailed it and it has been great less pain better aplication of power and just all around better. The O-1 drillrod felt eaisier on the kink but abit harder on the crush.I have some Shiny's and hex's on the way I will vid my first attempts with them Thanks again to you and everyone who has helped and supported me.
