I think I am in love...

With Pinch Gripping!

I know its not much (but I'm excited) I started pinch gripping just last week and I just upped my pinch maxes to 4 10s, and 2 25s +10#....!

its crazy I wish I knew it was this much fun several years ago! I am addicted.

Goals for Dec 31, 2010

Rock Bottom Squat 255#-5(new goal is 275#-5)

DB Row 100#-10 strict

DB Bench 100#-8

DM Seated MP 60#-8

Pullups-12 w/ 20#

IM 2.5 for 2 reps L&R

Deadlift 400#

Jump rope 375x4

I'm with you Steve! Pinch training is a blast!

Have you tried taking a single plate (5 or 10 lbs), pinching it using only your index and thumb then transfering to the middle finger, then ring, then pinkie then go back. When you do this excercise to failure you get an awesome burn in your thumb pad. My goal is to work up to being able to do this with a 25 lb plate. I wonder what the pinch monsters out there would be able to do with this excercise, maybe 2-25's?

I'll try that next day...sounds like lots of fun...I need to get something for ROM also (my birthday is comming up and I'm going to ask my dad for stuff cause he's who started me into strength stuff at 12....) I think I could do that with 2 10s but we will see... I'll post whatever happens on my training log with my other pinch grip mini marathons...

I can do that easy. 4 10's is V hard for me! Different strokes!

No I don't own any blobs....but as to the Car lifting, I've not really try'd it. Though I know I can't yet. But Im doing the Super Squats program and if all goes well Maybe in a year or two...What kind of weight is there in car deal lifting?

So far at 17 I can do tripple deads with 315#.

I would love to own a blob, but the cost is :whacked! I think I may lift my dads dumbells when I get home without cutting them just lift them by their hexagonal ends.

Just for fun (even though I am tired) I tried this out...As I have no big plates in my dorm room...(as I loned them to the "really buff but has no strength body builder" in the dorm :( ) I used 4 2-1/4 plates and did the one finger pinches, they were really easy, though the multiple plates made it a little harder with single fingers...(exspecially the pinkies... :D)

I think I could do this with 2 7.5s or 2 10s when fresh....no way to know without doing it though...
