thearm95 Posted May 30, 2007 Posted May 30, 2007 yes, obviously apart from actually practicing tearing, I'm thinking: wrist curls (normal and reverse), front and rear levering, and some kind of static or dynamic pinching where the fingers/fingertips pinch in towards the palm of the hand (this relating to the over/under grip on the cards). Are there any others that any of you card tearing masters out there have used? (my best so far is 30 plastic coated cards on third tearing session so I think I'm doing OK, but the quicker I get to the full deck, the less I will have to clear out the $2 shops of their stock!) - Duncan Quote Duncan.
dimmers Posted May 30, 2007 Posted May 30, 2007 would ISO training work? like using a piece of wood the same dimensions as a pack of cards and trying to rip it? Quote
vikingsrule92 Posted May 30, 2007 Posted May 30, 2007 Make pinch block the same size as a deck of cards and pinch it the way you would a deck of cards (not regular pinch). I forget who's site I saw this at but it's supposed to be great for card tearing. Quote
cjsta Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 Take a deck of cards in the box and duct tape them very well...easy tool for isos and the same basic size Chris Quote
