mongo02 Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 Hey guys after taking a couple weeks off to heal an injury I received my IM 2.5 in the mail and closed it right out of the package. It was not easy but I did it. Since then I have closed it 3 more times on seperate occasions. I originally bought it for negatives. It makes my #2 feel a lot lighter. Do you think I should wait on the IM#3 until I can easily do a couple reps or buy it for practice? Quote
capone30 Posted May 30, 2007 Posted May 30, 2007 buy a 3 since you can use it for negative's even if you can't close it yet or get a rb 210 usually a lttle harder than a 2.5 but not quite a 3, I have one that is about a 2.8 Quote Pain is good Pain build's character

pdfk20 Posted May 30, 2007 Posted May 30, 2007 Get yourself an RB210 or BBSM for sure, will help you bridge the gap between 2.5 and 3. Maybe wait till your nailing the 2.5 shut everytime, before you step up to the no.3. Titania Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Congrats on your 2.5 close D Speed I've been lurking a little on here for a while but decided it is time to start posting more. 5 posts in almost two years is kinda embarrassing!!! I managed my first #2.5 CoC close too on 27th of April. My next goal is a #3 CCS close but getting that last 1/4" or so is SO damn tough!!! Quote Read my bio here My Website

Titania Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 Titania, I've seen your videos in Youtube, very impressive!! Thanks lifesnotfair Titania, you being a pretty gal, what inspired you to pursue this profession? What is your ultimate goal? Thanks for the compliments Bonzi I have always had a passion for strength ever since I was little. I used to play games as a child in the schoolyard pretending I had superhero powers!! I guess that passion has never really left me. I only really started to get interested in specific grip strength training a few months ago when my focus started to shift from powerlifting only to more of a strongwoman focus where a strong grip is obviously beneficial. I really want to start getting involved with doing strength feats and stunts that will allow me to get some entries in the Guiness book of Records. Good to see you on gripboard Titania! You may have answered this elswhere but when is your "official" RT WR attempt? I know you were thinking of making at your own event just wondering when that would be. Good luck! I don't have a definite date planned for anything yet but I'd like to arrange something with Bill Lyndon (not sure if he posts here or not). I spoke to him a couple of months ago but have been a little occupied with a house move and the launch of my music career. I must give him a call this week. ....You may have guessed that I like smileys :D lol Quote Read my bio here My Website
