wscorpion Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 I just found some 1" square nails while looking for something to hang up a painting. Of course i had to bend it. One advantage, no matter how far you bend it, it will always be under 2 inches So now i'm wondering, what's the shortest piece of steel you've ever bend? I've bend (besides this 1" thing) a 4" 1/4 square but that's about the shortest i can go without losing my grip. Btw, an image of the 1" nail can be found in my gallery Quote Mark Vogels -------------------- "Whether you think you can or you can't, you're right."
liam.mccaffrey Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 at least gazza and pat have bent fantastic length bastards of varying breeds, other than that im not sure i've always thought a great feat would be to cut a red nail in 2 and bend both bits. Quote

cjsta Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 I took a 2" or 2-1/2" finishing nail, I can't remember, and bent it in the pad lock hole on a friends tool box (one of the small carry along jobs). It was kind of obvious who "nailed" his tool box shut though. Everyone had a good laugh. Chris Quote
