cjsta Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 I did a little show for some coworkers on Friday afternoon and I got an extremely tough adjustable wrench. I had gotten it after a fight but two days later my leg looks like this... http://www.gripboard.com/index.php?automod...si&img=5822 It started out as a painful swollen mass then the swelling went down and the color started comeing in. Has anyone else experienced this? Know any good remidies from faster healing? The strange part is my right leg is fine, it's just my left. Chris Quote
Alawadhi Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 That looks MEAN! TIM T is a GOOD brace bender so he can answer you. But as for my answer, if the thing was smaller I will probably rest and some ice on it. But the swollen part is huge and you need to go to a doctor. Thats my opinion. Tim71 Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 Sorry Alawadhi, Tim T hasn't ever had anything like that. I don't bruise easy at all. I'd have to get hit by a sledge hammer to get a bruise like that. Does it hurt very bad? Hurt when you walk or anything like that? I've seen on these crazy TV shows where some of these skate boarders and such can have some pretty bad bruises and be just fine. Do you rest the ends of the wrench straight on your legs? You must've busted a pretty good blood vessel but if it keeps hurting I'd wonder if I cracked my femur which I've always heard is extremely painful. Don't know buddy I'm just a postal worker. I'd say if it isn't alot better in a few days or starts hurting or you run a fever I'd hit the ol' hospital. Be careful. Tim Quote

Like a brick breaker when he injured his hand he will ask another brick breaker how to treat his hands. Quote Read about me in my biography. I've literally bent dozens of wrenches now with no more than a quarter sized bruise at most or no bruise at all. Same goes for horseshoes and spikes. Like I said my right leg is fine. It doesn't hurt but it does itch a little and the color is improving already. A doctor told me it's superficial, that's a plus. No, the ends are at an angle after a good kink and I was cranking my wrists like normal, just with more force due to wrench toughness. Quote
Tim71 Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 Alawadhi, I was just kidding with my response. Chris, like you said in the other thread, I guess it's just a freak thing. Did you tell the doctor how you did it? I bet it would be hard to find a medical doctor that would give this hobby their seal of approval. Glad it's getting better, Tim Quote
