Crushing & Pinching

Fairly new to this grip world, started in January. Just have some questions on how some of you go about your training.

I tend to train crush and pinch on the same day. I'll start with some grippers, move into wrist work, and then into pinching. Just wondering if some of you guys train crush and pinch on the same day or if you alternate?

What works for you?

And, do you see any downside to training both techniques during the same workout?

Sorry if this topic is out of place, but this seemed like a likely place to post it.

Thanks for any replies.

If you're going through hell, keep going.

I don't know about most people but for me, training all the different movements all the time, or even on separate days of the week, slows my progress in all areas to zilch. However since I've concentrated on Grippers I've gotten better at grippers, since I concentrated on bending alittle bit ago I got better at bending, just make sure you do some supplementary work in the other areas.

I think you'll just have to experiment and see what works best for you.

Me personally, i like to keep things apart. I will do grip training one night to finish off a workout, then do pinch work and holds another day.

I don't do any specific grip work after i've been bending steel though, that's probably one time i wouldn't do it.

It's always worth browsing through the 'Workout reports and Training routines' section, you'll be able to see how other guys plan their workouts (and ask any questions for a particular routine you like the look of).

good luck in your training.
