How Things Will Likely Be Run At The Mi Contest

Just to help you guys prepare.

Lifting order will be random, though I might group some of the bigger lifters in events together. I'll figure out a way to do that. For vbar, one hand will be done, then after a short (1 minute max) break, go with the other hand.

For bending, I'll line up 3-5 guys at a time. At the end of 5 minutes we'll check distance. Rewrap, measure for yourself, whatever you want in the 5 minutes, but after that you get what you end up with.

With the other lifts, one hand is contested, just do your attempt. Nothing special.

I will likely have 2 setups for most events. Probably one for under 200 pound attempts in vbar, under 70-100 in pinch, and maybe one for the one hand DL depending on how the bars compare.

That's a good idea having two set-ups for the lighter weights.

I like the bending lineup, that just makes sense to have a few people going at once. The intensity is going to be fierce!
