Justin Reagan Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 I ordered 15' of 9/32" oil hardened drill rod from Fastenal. Can't wait until it gets here--finally some steel between 1/4" and 5/16". I picked up a little of the 1/4" and 5/16" that they had in stock--1/4" to see what the drill rod feels like, 5/16" to look at for a while...I ended up bending a 4 7/8" x 1/4" piece DU (probably could've gotten 4.5" if I didn't have a small ripped place on my hand from my last DO workout...). Has a little different feel to it, doesn't it? Justin Quote

Good luck with it. - Aaron Quote ** Retired **
ox3782 Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 I am off to fastenal Monday for some of that.Have you tried A G5 or G8? Brendan Quote Brendan Dwyer | 6'1" | 204lbs | 7 7/8 inch hand
Justin Reagan Posted April 28, 2007 Author Posted April 28, 2007 (edited) I can get both a G5 and G8 DO, and I can get the G5 and kink the G8 with DU. Just don't ask about reverse style... Justin Edited April 28, 2007 by Justin Reagan Quote
Tim71 Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 The 9/32 is good stuff. Definately harder than the 9/32 CRS and probably not too far from the weakest 5/16 CRS. The crush is definately a workout. I think I sent a 7 inch piece to Eric a while back and it cal'd at 355 lbs. Go get it! Tim Quote
