It says German grip champion in the write-up...

Hey, I like that t-shirt he's wearing! I wonder where I can get one like that? ;)

Haha, he does!

I never know when to expect a new CoC, it seems.

Congratulations, Stefan!

Stefan is not a member of the board yet, but I highly recommended to join the gripboard, when he told me last week about his successful certification process. His latest progress in gripstrength, esp. on the grippers, is awesome.

By the way. He is highly interested in competing in the euros in sweden this year.

It says German grip champion in the write-up... Is he signed up for the contest coming up there?

Not for the MGC, but he wants to compete in the euros later this year in sweden.

I agree. I also find that picture very funny because if you squint it looks like his wife has a tiny yellow hand and is closing a gripper in front of him. (it's really on his shirt)

Also, congrats to him of a great grip accomplishment !

Damn - You're right!! :laugh That looks funny indeed - especially in combination with the smile of his wife! :laugh

So, how can the guy claim to be a German Grip Champion if he has not won your German competition?

Is it possible there is another faction of Gripping going on in Germany that is not part of the Gripboard? Has he won another set of competitions that might be going on?

Hm, perhaps some kind of misunderstanding! Stefan has won the nationals last year which took place in November I think. A lot of strong gripguys of Germany didn't compete in this nationals and Stefan took first place. I've never met him in person but he must be a strong dude, no question. So he is the official german champion. It was his first grip competition, I think.

In Germany there are in fact several guys doing grip without being a gripboard member. Most of those guys compete in the nationals but did not take part in other events - perhaps because grip is not their main focus.

PS: I think someone should pursuade him to compete at the 'other' german comp in may. Although he may be a strong guy, i bet Flo could give him a good ride!
