nickr104 Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 This is the first FBBC 12" spike I have done. They are much hader than the other spikes I have bent. I did it Monday after my workout. Quote Nick RosendaulI am a Upser"I slept with John Eaton and lived to tell about it!"

kerbjr Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 Great work on a tuff spike. I remember the first one I tried really blew off my socks cause it was so much tougher than the ones I had been doing..........Typical FBBC tuff stuff...gotta love it............BK Quote If the mind can conceive it, then the body can acheive it. Anuwbius Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 Man that got me really going for some reason. I think its because I just started with spike bending. Its funny, the first one I ever tried was from an aces in NC, and the thing beat me and my friend (who has more upper body strength) for a about a half hour before giving out. It bent much like this one, with a sharp V and it was not galvanized. Any one I get from around here (NYC) just melts! Anyway, fantastic bend. Looked solid. On to the 10"er! acorn Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 Good stuff man, I did one of those this weekend and it was tough to get it moving for me too - Aaron Quote ** Retired **

My hats off to you guys that can bend them. I get stuck on the crush down part of the bend with those. You know when you get the good kink in it and the spike is in that nomans land area. One day i will get one. Thanks guys! Quote Nick RosendaulI am a Upser"I slept with John Eaton and lived to tell about it!"
Tim71 Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 Nice work! The 10 inchers are tough. That's the legendary 100d bend. Once you've got a really tough 12 incher then in my opinion it's best to try a 10 inch galvanized one like a griprite. Then maybe a shiny griprite. A 10 inch FBBC spike will be a big jump up from a 12 inch I think. Great Job on that 12 incher. To me it was alot tougher then all the other 12 inch spikes. Tim Quote
nickr104 Posted April 27, 2007 Author Posted April 27, 2007 Yup, I think I am going to pick up a box of 10" shiny gripright spikes from TSC in the next week or 2. Quote Nick RosendaulI am a Upser"I slept with John Eaton and lived to tell about it!"
