Take a long break, you will regret it if you don't, trust me!

I have this same problem and it especially rears it's ugly head when I go for PR bends. As far as I can tell, it's caused by the pressure on the index finger while bending over them in the kink and sweep. That's what it feels like to me anyway. I've had to take so much time off after each workout that I am rethinking my strategy. I think I need to go back and do lighter volume workouts to further condition my joints.

Good advice. Give your hands time to heal and recover. Over time, they'll get tougher, no doubt.

did some sledge work on a tyre last week and i tried it today .....i think that was the culprit.

i have now learnt a big lesson, one that you all have learnt never OVERTRAIN.

i have a mate who has gone to barbados to see the cricket and he has text me to say he can get grade 5 & 8 bolts so as hes not due back for a fortnight i wil rest and dream about things to come he he he
