liam.mccaffrey Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 just bent a fbbc 307A 5/16" bolt that youdimmers sent me and it was super HARD!!!!!!! i see it only calls at 300lbs. but would say it was nearly as hard a bend as my new reds and theyre supposed to cal to 460??????? i know you can't compare cals for different lengths but these bolts are supposed to be easier than G5's, i have some really hard G5's Ben snet me and they're nowhere near as hard as my 307A. has there been more than one of these calibrated? cheers guys Quote
Alawadhi Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 I have those FBBC 5/16 bolt and I think it's very very hard. Quote Read about me in my biography. EricMilfeld Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 307A bolts vary quite a bit. I've no doubt the one you bent is indeed a real tough one. Quote
dimmers Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 Liam, Glad you found that bolt tough! i thought there was something wrong when i saw it cal at 300lb as i couldn't crush the darn thing even after pre kinking it again, it just goes to show how much steel varies! nice bend though, i imagine that was a good step up from the red for you? liam.mccaffrey Posted April 22, 2007 Author Posted April 22, 2007 i would say it was just a tiny bit easier than a red, certainly way harder than G5 nice bolt though, thanks pete Quote
gazza Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 When i was around the red level maxwell brought some fbbc bags back from the US these bolts were included and they were harder than the 2 types of reds i had bent.
