My First Vid

My first attempt at doing a bending vid!

It's a lot harder than i thought! i must of done 4 attempts before getting it done correctly. First time i had the camera the wrong way up (i used my mobile phone), next time you couldn't see the ruler, then the cat came in and jumped up on the table on one of the attempts  (you'll see him in this vid but he stayed out the way this time), another time i tried a bit of stainless just under 5 inch and it didn't budge :blush

Finally managed to record something. Nothing special, just thought i'd have a go at doing a vid, so any comments would be appreciated.

None of this stuff is fbbc, the nail is fairly easy but the stainless is harder than fbbc 1/4" crs on the crush - still fairly easy bend though.

cheers :D

A nice clear video for you 1st attempt congrats mate.

Congrats on the stainless as well that will be a nice keepsake for the future to remind you off how far you have come.

I liked the way that you unrolled the wraps after the finished bend i like to do that as well shows that there aint anything in the wraps to aid the bend.

Awesome Bends!!! was that a 60d bright for a warmup went through it like butter. And the stainless that was awesome and only a mild struggle for you.

That was a super clear video for a camera phone and you melted those bars.

I know all to well the technical difficulty issues, I had an Insane Bastard going down the other day in the swamp and it was actually only a bit off center this time and wouldn't you know it the batteries went dead  and on another attempt the memory card said full 3/4s the way into the bend. :(

Thanks for the feedback guys, appreciate it!

I really didn't think it would be that difficult to film a bend, but i guess you live and learn. I just noticed that i didn't get all of the tape measure in shot when showing the stainless length :rolleyes

Hopefully next vid will be spot on and i'll try a tough bend - might have to wait until my girlfriend is out the house though as all the grunting and yelling doesn't go down very well :blush

Gator - I can't imagine how annoying it must be do get a cert bend done only to find the camera is out of battery!!! :blink that would make me so mad.

cheers again!

Great job man.. you really made that look easy.. Also that 60D was ridiculous how fast you bend that.. that wasn't even a warm up for you more like playing around..

Great job and the video quality looks great

Don't want to give a false impression here, so just to clarify the 6 inch nail was a UK 6 inch nail, therefore it was only 6mm in width (slightly under 1/4") therefore pretty easy - but good for warming up.
