ObsceneJester Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 (edited) Well I got my steel from Mr. John Beatty today and I have to say WOW.. everything looks great.. The steel is all shiny and smooth.. I enjoy the leather wraps I got as well, all I have to say it is everything everyone has told me and more and I have to say it was better then I thought it was going to be, so a big thanks to John for the hard work and time he put into this.. I opened it up and took out a piece of 1/4 6.5" very easily so then I went on to the 5.5" and that was gone in under 10 seconds.. The I took down a piece of 1/4 7" Hex that wasn't too bad.. then went on to the 6" piece of Hex and I put a little warp in it so now I know what needs to be done.. Also what is a 7" 1/4 Hex rated at? ox3782 Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 Ahh ok I missed that now I see I guess you will have to wait until Eric milfeild or TimT get a hold of this question.Great bends anyway I am eager to try some of FBBC stock myself. Brendan Quote Brendan Dwyer | 6'1" | 204lbs | 7 7/8 inch hand
jaccord Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 Good bends Obscene Jester. I should be getting my order soon cause I placed mine not much after you did. Yeah, I wish I would have known he sells leather wraps, I would have bought some myself. I just didn't see it anywhere under his products or sale page. Anyway have fun with your new steel. Josh Quote
Tim71 Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 I remember somebody saying that a 6 inch piece hit around 350 and seems like I had it in my mind that a 7 inch piece of 1/4 hex hit around 270 or so but maybe Eric cal clarify. Tim Quote
