Mini Bending Milestone

Finally bent a hard 70d. It was a multi-session effort, but I was able to finish it off today.

Finally getting less than pathetic at the bending. Got an old bastard from 90 degrees.

Thanks! I've done a red a while ago, and I couldn't do the 70d's then. In fact, I have a 6.5 red at Don Larkin's that I am going to try to finish up in a few weeks.

Excellent bend. To me the order of difficulty went like this. I got my first bastard bar a couple weeks ago and I couldn't get a hard 70d nail. The nail BTW, calibrated at 415 lbs and was canadian made, I think midwest manufacturing marketed it though. Then yesterday I got the tough 70d in probably a minute and it was tougher than the bastard bar, then I got one of the new tougher reds and to me it was noticably tougher than the 70d. Crush was unusually tough for CRS.

No doubt you could get one of the easier bastard bars then.
