amaury Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 There is a scientific institute in France (managed by a nobel prize) that offers money to anyone that can perform something 'paranormal' under controled circonstances. Needless to say, it would be a fantastic way to get official recognition and fame for anyone that can ACTUALLY perform something considered as paranormal. Many people applied. Guess what: no one succeeded. I am not sure about the possibility to bend spoons with the mind, but it seems to be such a good party trick that we would probably see it a lot if it were 'easy' and 'doable by everyone' as said in the article. Well, if it's that simply why do none of these psycho-benders and breakers not bend a piece of railroad track or something like that. Same with the fire walkers. Walk on a red-hot piece of steel if the temperature doesn't matter. Why do people who break boards and claim it's all mental always use thinner stuff cut against the grain? Why not do a railroad tie? I do believe there have been some unexplainable phenomenom but I think there are alot more fakes. Shame it is fake though since that might have been the only way we could catch Gazza!
