All competitors did very well, Anthony and Gene it was their firstr contest and trhey gave 100%. Gene Martin, Ross's dad, came out as the dark horse of the show, never trained grip and day in his life, but as you can tell from these results we are going to try and convince him other wise.

Thanks to all who showed and hope to see you all next year unless you want another one sooner please let me know. I hope to see you all at the GGC as well.

Closing a #2.5 with no prior training is a tremendous feat in my book.

My father told me his goal is to train alittle here and alittle there for the next year and then try and get cirtified for the #3 the first time he tried the number 3 he almost got it. In the contest he tried it but he told me his head wasnt in it.

Incredible!

Where does he get his strength?

What does he do for a living?

Gene was the dark horse for sure. I guessed he was a mason but I was shocked when he told me that he pushes paper for a living. I would hate to see the size of that paper pile! TPS put on a class show. I woul like to mention that Anthony (my stepson) is only 16. We both had a great time competing and training for this contest and we plan to make it a yearly thing. He also shocked me with a 200lb thick vbar lift a few weeks ago.

Thanks again TPS

Good job everyone, sounds like it was a fun contest

There is a natural order. The way things are meant to be. An order that says the good guys always win, that you die when it's your time or when you have it coming, that the ending is always happy-if only for someone else.

Good time last Saturday. Nice to see the guys agin, and meet the new competitors. make sure Anthony and Gene keep it up. A solid year of training and the top three might get shaken up big time, given their potential. Brendan Dwyer nearly accomplished a double 45 hub lift but dropped one right before lockout.

Congratulations to all! Gene, great debut! Once again a great contest by TPS with some innovative lifts. I was blown away after the contest seeing Brad easily do a double 45lb hub lift. (he made it LOOK easy) As always, seeing Jedd, Mark, Murph and even Dave was fun! I gotta train for this next year!
