pdfk20 Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 This gripper has been rated by Ben Edwards at the standard of an average to hard COC #3. I has a narrowish spread which definately helps with setting it to parallel as my setting strength is generally quite weak. Alawadhi Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 (edited) Would you like to swap that Elite for my Plus gripper? You always compare you Elite to the strongest gripper ever made! You say your Elite is stronger than the phantom 4. I know you didnt try the phantom 4. You are jusr comparing. Why don't you send it to Gamidon to calibrate it? Let me know if this is possible Cheers bro, i reckon an MMS of the SE by the end of 07 is possible. Ben would be able to calibrate that BBE better than i could he is quite a bit ahead of me on the grippers. The GM is a tough gripper, i rate mine as an average no.3, so it doesent surprise me that your GM is harder. If you look at the ratings on grippermania, they are at the same level. As for the Elite ive heard from Sam that the new Elites are closer to no.4 strength than no.3. How was it compared your #3 Pete? The Elite i closed at Bens is marginally easier than my no.3, which im told is very tough for a no.3. Because I'm guessing I would have a decent chance of closing that one too. Well, how far can you get the CoC #3.5? My #3.5 is around the tougher end of the stick ( Explainable by the 3 1/4" spread: http://www.gripboard.com/index.php?act=mod...si&img=5182 ) ....and my Elite matches it on the close, so you might want to be between MM2 and MM3 level for this baby. CoC#3 Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 I have no doubt bencrush could give your elite Timmy and my elite a very good whirl, infact given his current form i bet the handles would meet. Timmy Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 (edited) Please dont underestimate Ben's strength. I have seen many vids of Ben's strength, but Ben bought up the question of the strength of my Elite. So I was giving him an idea of where it sits. I just purchased a new #3 about a month ago, this #3 wasn't just any, I asked for the Hardest one he had out of a batch of 150. However, my Elite is still well infront of that at the close. And the sweep on that #3 matches #4 from fully open to parallel. Edited December 30, 2006 by Timmy Quote CCS 2005 #3: Done! 20 Reps on #3: PR! Get #3 Cert: Pending..... BBE Cert: Done!

I have tried quite a few #3's, NONE are like the sweep on a decent #4. You may have some hard grippers, but you are probably the least credible person on this board and until you actually go somewhere and do something infront of people very few will believe anything you post.
