TelegraphKey Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Is there any gadget like a Counter Clicker that's held in the hand, like a Pez dispenser, with a button/lever at the top, with thumb on top, which the thumb presses down on? Obviously there are Counter Clickers, but of course I mean something with much more resistance so you can do some dynamic thumb pinch work. I guess pony clamps are the closest thing now, but the Counter Clicker thing would seem to be less awkward to hold, so you could really work the thumb, maybe. gerryg Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 I would say a pony clamp is the best thing for dynamic thumb work money wise(around $3), IMTugs($20), and if you want to spend more money the IM TTK($85) or Tetting Squeezer($75). http://www.wwfitness.com/gripstrength.html http://www6.mailordercentral.com/ironmind/...umber=1243%2DII http://www.coastaltool.com/cgi-bin/SoftCar...9603+1165877467 Quote

You know how people nervously click the buttons on pens *click click click click click* making the pen tip stick out then retract over & over again? I mean some device just like that, only with a lot more resistance for thumb work. Guess I'll have to try to build one. Also, the part you press on should be very wide and cushioned so you don't put a hole in your thumb.
