MRabich Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 (edited) Just read over at Iron History website board that Staver foundry closed. Staver foundry was the one selling the Inch replicas sold by Ironmind and Sorinex. Ironmind has pulled them off their website. It also said that about 200 of them were sold, I would imagine about 90% of them are owned by people on this board. To me purchasing Inch was a questionable investment, it be a while if ever that i'd lift it, and there is few things you can do with it for hefty price, but it was so cool looking. To be honest, they do feel different but the conditions dictate which is easier to lift - the lighter one with the rough handler or the heavier one with the smooth handle. Temp & humidity control everything with heavy static grip lifting. Quote
John Beatty Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Well, I'm going to partially spill the beans. FBBC is looking into carrying Inch type replicas. If it all works, I'll have 5 sizes. 117, 135, 154, 172, 212. Handle dimensions the same on all sizes. If all goes well, around march or April. Save your pennies! Quote I like heavy things.

Bearcat 74 Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 I guess I'd better hang onto the one I bought from Kinney then. A 154 would be awesome to help train for the real deal.
