Hubgeezer Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 My FBBC "Bomb" arrived today at the office. I couldn't wait to get it home. I just "knew" I would be good at it. I read on the website about how to grip it, and PM'd Climber Chris Rice on the how and why. I put 100 lbs of plates on a small loading pin, and proceeded to lift the 108 pound stack almost 3 whole inches. I put 90 of plates on, it went up easily, and then 95 on, and it went up easily, and 100 again, and ...2 inches. Looking at the Bomb List on FBBC's website, I saw that 103 pounds puts me very comfortably in the bottom quartile. You just never know about these things. Oh well, maybe it is something my son can beat me at in grip. I will find out this weekend. Bombing out for now, Hubgeezer Quote

Hubgeezer Posted December 19, 2006 Author Posted December 19, 2006 Did 108 tonight. It still sucks, but it is an improvement... Quote
bencrush Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Good job Hub. Mine went up slowly too. Took a few months it seems like to get over the 135 hump. Some people get that first time trying it, but we can hate those guys together if you like. Quote
