t-wehner Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 (edited) have tried it several times over the years, and never knew how to do it, just tried sheer power. saw the article in clay edgin's, site and got it. 317 pages, tore in half. wife is a little ticked, tore three magazines prior to it, and when she saw the phone book, or the half, she gave me hell. oh well, she gives me grief whenever i workout, cause it is always something new, and a little odd to the regular gym crowd. i have wanted to do this since i was a little kid when i saw it done on a tv show. dang i'm happy. gonna practice this one some more, just got to get some more phone books. wanna try my hand at some bending here soon too. another childhood dream. take care and good lifting. t-wehner Posted October 26, 2006 Author Posted October 26, 2006 will keep ya'll updated. on the prowl for unused, and or unattended phonebooks now. what i felt when doing it was that the wrist rollers, and levering have begun to pay off, as have the pinching and gripping. without the grip and wrists, the upper body cannot apply its power. take care and good lifting.
