bencrush
The set wasn't visible...did you MMS close it? And the bracing at the end I assume was to keep the hand steady for the camera? Not nitpicking, I've seen your strength already.
BIKERICH
excellent work Timmy!

Not nitpicking, I've seen your strength already. Oh, I was trying to set it by pushing down - MMS. I braced my wrists to position my hand. If I were to give my analysis, I would say: they need to release a HG450( Normal Handles with a HG500 spring).
bunchofbananas
good strength but two questions: Is the close actually in the shot? I don't know what the bottom of the HG handles look like but it didn't look closed. I tried listening for handle grinding aswell but couldn't hear any. Teemu I
You might want to practice that camera action. As evidence, that video isn't what it should be. I'm not questioning your strength, but learn to take better videos. This time there was proper lighting, I give you that. Holding your wrist, you don't need that. Don't take this the wrong way, but since you are posting videos why not make them worthy of your accomplishments?

I usually don't hold my wrist, but since the camera was running low, I had to make it hasty. The only reason I hold my wrist is so I can direct it without losing the set. Bob Lipinski
Yeah, strong effort but the handles didn't touch in the video, about 1/4 inch away.

Actually, they did touch; one handle mount is 1/8" longer then the other. I will show picture, however, it didn't add any leverage.

Why not make sure that battery is fully charged before you start filming? Why not set it on camera then, if that's the reason why your holding your wrist? It takes practice but the result is a better video. I'm allways eager to see a decent video of a good gripper close. I'm sorry but that was more like you "doing something" with HG350. That's all I wanted to say about this, I know fully well how difficult it can be to get a good video when you are doing them alone, as that's the way I've done mine. Geo
Yep getting a good close on camera is something you have to practice. There are all kinds of things that can go wrong and sometimes Ive found that even when you know you closed it when you look back at it on video theres a shadow or you held the gripper up to the camera at the wrong angle and it looks like theres a little gap. pdoire
Nice effort but the angle of the shot as far as the handles go make it very difficult to see if they actually touched.
Cannon
Congrats Timmy! How does this gripper compare to your others? It seems clearly harder than a CoC3 because your CoC3 closes looked easier. Here is a freeze frame of your close. It's hard to tell, but it really does look like one handle is about 1/8" longer than the other. That's weird. It's kind of an optical illusion because you can also trick your eyes to believe the handles are not touching because of the skewed perspective. The camera probably cut out before the close; I know that it was closed, because I feel the handles grind. It was noticably tougher than my GR8 #3. Sybersnott
Does the "Sybersnott Rule" come into play on this video? Just for the record, I wasn't involved...
