Teemu I
I still haven't heard about it myself, but I'll let you know when I know, whether it is turned down or approved.
Yersinia
would be weird is they turned it down. cant see any reason why they should . it looks good on the video.
Teemu I
I forgot there was this topic, so I'll post this here too. OK, here's the news, I just recieved an email from Mr. Strossen regarding my cert. It's not allowed, because the gripper although beeing unseasoned and unoiled and not one of my own wasn't pulled straight out of the package at the time of my cert attempt. So that's about it, I hope this makes things clear now. As for myself, it simply means that I will cert some time later this year and will be pounding away at grippers even harder than I have done so far. So it's only a delay for me. Mr. Strossen was extremely professional, polite and encouraging in his answer to me. I do respect his desicion and I do think this new policy is good. Slider454
Teemu you have more patience than me...It should have been put upon the guy that certed you to have the gripper sent to him and he is the one that messed up your cert!!! I would be really ticked off and very upset...I respect you that you have so much patience my friend...best of luck to you!
joeyg
i'm confused... didn't he pick the witness and the day after you told him you wanted to cert?

rmaidment
If you read the article about tex getting certified on the ironmind website it clearly states that the new rules are that you must use a gripper that is straight from the package. I would like to know the straight up truth as to what I need to do to cert I am killin my #3 but I dont want to have to try this 3 or 4 times like Teemu has had to do!! Cobraman
It would be nice if they updated the "Rules for Closing and Certification" on the ironmind website to clearly explain the new rules
