Chrisx9118
What do you guys think would help most in trying to front lever an 8lb Sledgehammer from the bottom of the handles as in training for it?
DAN PRAYDIS
What do you guys think would help most in trying to front lever an 8lb Sledgehammer from the bottom of the handles as in training for it? if you keep doing a lift or leaver or anything you will eventually get it just chock up the handle and start there good luck

lifesnotfair
I'm almost levering my 8lb sledge and I got it not too long ago! Just start by levering it grabbing it closer to the weight. At first I could only lever it grabbing it from about HALFWAY through the handle (which is 36" I think).. and each week (or each workout?) try grabbing it from further.. go down, down, down... eventually you'll reach the bottom of the handle, heh. After levering he 8lb, we have to find a way to add small weights. I was thinking of welding a short tube to load my 2.5lb and/or 3 lb plates. 2.5 lbs might be too much in this thing, but then what I would do is add the 2.5, and lever it grabbing it from further, like I did in the beggining, and once again try to go down, down, down... till I do it from the very bottom. That's how I'm gonna do it
