BAM676
Elijeb and I are looking at making some atlas stones to add to our lifting equipment. We want to have a consistant size stone but increase the weight by adding lead shot or foam balls. What is the typical or average diameter of stones you guys and gals have seen or experienced? Thanks.
Rick Walker
Slater Even if you dont buy the molds, you can get an idea of what each diameter to weight is.
BAM676
Yeah, that's were we want to get the molds, however we want to get an idea for the "typical" size/ the diameter that are usually used in contests. Or, should we have different sizes that corrilate (sp) to the increase in weight?
MRBeyers
You will run into mostly 18" stones, heavier ones will be 19" and sometimes 20". the jump to a 20" dia. stone makes a BIG difference. But get the Slater molds, they work great.
