maidenfan
I believe its an adjustable set-up - you can make it whatever you want.
climber511
It is adjustable. Here in the states, the choices seem to be 44mm(1 3/4") - 54mm(2 1/8" - 64mm(2 1/2"). The Europeans seem to offer a greater number of choices. I'm still not clear on the rules for maximum thickness - Mikael has a post somewhere that leads me to believe greater than 64mm can be used with extra rubber inserts over what David shipped with the ones he sold. Perhaps David or Mikael can answer further.
FrankyBoy
The standard euro pinch device as shipped by David Horne consists of: 2 metal (the pinch) plates with a width of 6mm 2 thinner rubber plates with a width of 6 mm 4 thicker rubber plates with a width of 10mm Therefor the maximum width is 4x6+4x10 = 64mm You can make it wider if you order additional rubber plates.
