Chrisx9118
I finally gave the yellow my all today and it went down. I bent it DU and it took me 1:53 seconds. I know thats a long time, but with practice i will get it much faster. Thanks to everyone who pushed me to take this bastard of a yellow nail down - mostly GetaGrip87 - Thanks man. EDIT: 5 minutes after bending the yellow i decided to give the blue nail a go and i kinked it to about 55 degrees DU. I tried to finish it off but i felt like my arm was going to break. What a great day for bending! (PR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Another thing, what time frame for a bend would you consider decent as far as being able to bend it. I just dont know if i should consider crossing off my yellow nail goal because i bent it in 1:53 seconds, should it be under 1 min?

GetAGrip87
Awesome Chris, Congrats on the PR!!!!! I told you, you would do it! Try to bend it in under a minute because that is the time allowed on a bend when certing the RED. You will get faster and faster, soon you will be bending them in like 5 seconds flat. menace3000
Congratulations on the accomplishment Chris what kind of routine did you do to break through yellow? for example how many greens can you do in 2 minutes? I am really curious as I am stuck at yellow....even though greens fall easily....I am able to very slightly if at all kink the yellow..... It only took a few days once I picked up that stock. - Aaron

I felt the same way, i would take down green nails and even 4.5" greens no problem. What i did was i got some HRS 1/4" steel from my hardware store and cut it down to 7" lengths. I feel it considerably easier then a yellow nail yet much harder then a cut down green. I mostly like to bend bolts instead of green nails, i worked volume with 5.5" and 5" 1/4" carriage bolts, but they are no match for the yellow.
