what was your next stepup from a 7" by 3/16" Square fat bastard stock? I just bent a few and want to try something harder next time but i don't want to try something way to hard and lose too much power from it.

Try cutting that square stock down to 6.5". Should make it a little tougher but nothing too intense.

You can cut the stock and/or do some volume. If you've bent a few you are probably good for the home depot 1/4"

I don't know, I can handle 5" x 3/16 square pretty easy but still cant do anything with 1/4. Not even close for some reason.

You can go to a steel supplier and get a 20 foot stick of 1/4 inch hot-rolled for probably $5.00 and that should be easier than the zinc-plated 1/4inch.

Or you could go to Home Depot and get a 30 pound bucket of 60D galvanized timber ties and they will treat you well.
