Blackheart
The knurling of the beefbuilder grippers is razor sharp......when i train with my master, i cannot completely focus on the gripper because the pain on my skin from the knurling of the handles is terrible! The knurling of the bf grippers is much more razor that that of the coc's.Any suggestions? Edited July 25, 2006 by Blackheart
Teemu I
Tape the fingerside handle if that is a problem.
Blackheart
Athletic tape would be much more suitable for such things right?
Scott Styles
Are you using chalk? A good layer of chalk could smooth the knurling out.
big bri
keep training through the pain. eventually the skin will get used to it. my skin never hurts from the knurling on my elite
pdoire
I have used the tape also..but it comes off with the chalk eventually. I now sand the finger handle a bit. It will really chew you up with high volume. Callouses will develop as your skin toughens however.

I used tape to get going on the quest for closing #3, I got rid of the tape later. Don't use athletic tape on the handle, use electricians tape, that is smooth and slick.
