You can try Pullum sports they sell basic metal plates with smooth backs the number is 01582 560555or www.pullumsports.com .Bodypower Sports or Fitness superstore as it is now known sell flat back olympic metal plates at cheap prices however in my experience they never ever weight what they are supposed to; for example i bought 4 50k plates and 2 20k plates from them the 50s weighted 48k and the 20s 18k which is well out, other people i know have had the same experience. Sportesse (i think thats how you spell it) sell top quality Ivanko plates that you could use but they will be expensive , if you go to the Ivanko.com website and click on distributors it will give you the number for them.
