I think I can say that the #3 is no longer a challenge!

:flame

Nice closes man and hardly any set! I noticed you did a weird little bouncing on the first 2 attempts, was that just to get a little momentum started? Very nice stuff.

No, those bounces were just me toying with it. :rock

I could tell right away you were just piddling around w/ that thing.

We do your stuff nearly as well as you do, you can't do ours very well at all, and we do everything that we both don't do much better than you can. Not very humble, I know, but true. -Coach Glassman

What was it that you had clamped on the spring?

Real name: Jason Deane, 2007 goals: quite honestly my business is taking front seat for a while, general fitness and mean looking guns are my only grip focus right now.

It was a hoseclamp, I usually tighten it around the top of the spring( With a 15" screwdriver!). This makes the closing of the gripper much tougher.

Nice man :rock

There is a natural order. The way things are meant to be. An order that says the good guys always win, that you die when it's your time or when you have it coming, that the ending is always happy-if only for someone else.

Congrats dude I kept wondering if that was a hose clamp. Another question, you said you had 7inch hands correct?

And now her comes the big question: Can you do that with a CC set? If not, hold up on that cert... your closes are very good, but remember about the sweep! :D

Anyway, the order got mixed up - but for the good. I received this mutated HG300, and god was it hard! The spread on the sucker is 2 3/4" and much tougher then the #3. Taking a closer look at gripper, the legs on the spring are twisted out of shape. I could only manage to get the legs to pass underneath one another.

I ordered a HG250, hg300, and hg350 last month. My HG300 is about a 2.8, and the HG350 is about a 2.85. It looks like they didn't get the handles in far enough when they mounted them and the spread is about 2.45" the handles stick out about 1/4" further than on my hg300. Anyway, nice close Timmy

Anyway, the HG300 is going back. Hopefully, I'll close the 350, fresh, out of the packet.
