kelby
would your wrist strength be way above average, if you can lever a 8lb sledge hammer with a 29 in handle. i am about five inches away from levering a 8lb sledge. 29 inches long. five inches from the edge of the handle. deaner
I would say yes if it is to the front that you lever it, not to the rear or nose.
Starkmann
I would say no. Especially if we are talking about a strict lever (arm out front, hammer from perpendicular to nose and back). Your handle is short and your weight it light. I'm not trying to be a bastard either, so let me know if I am misunderstanding what you are saying. TelegraphKey
I don't want to be a bastard either, but...IMO a lever from perpendicular down to the forehead (hammer touches forehead) & back up, with an 8 lb. lever, with a 31 inch handle, with the hand all the way to the end of the handle (pinky side even with the end of the handle) -- that's about equal to closing a #1 CoC or maybe between #1 & #2 (BBSA?) in terms of feat of strength, IMO. (Slim did 27 and 31.5 lbs this way, making that equal to about closing a #5 or #6 CoC, if they existed)
kelby
i am talking about levering, picking it up from the floor. not touching your forehead or anything. just levering it up.
