Justin Reagan
I had a not so great workout today (posted in my log). I think I'm going to start doing some volume with 60d's again (maybe...). On the upside, I got to try something new. A piece of 7"x1/4" FBBC hex. Not hard by any means, but it probably will be when it gets down to 6". How do you guys think 6" x 1/4" hex compares to a G5? Just want to know what to expect. I hate when I feel like I'm ready for a really good and successful workout, and it just turns out to be a dud. I'm really looking forward to learning DO. I've finally got to where my elbows don't drop when I'm trying to bend. I just push and push and push on the ends, usually with no movement! G2's are actually a major pain. Funny thing is, I've put a wobble in almost everything I've tried--even blues. At times, I put as much of a dent in a blue as in a G2. It's just that the blues never go any farther, while every once in a while, a G2 suddenly melts. Justin Reagan

Justin Reagan
Well, I don't just literally "push on the ends". I've been paying attention to everybody's advice and reading all the information I can. I especially have been reading Greg Amidon and Dave Morton's "Unbraced bending" article and have been trying to follow their advice. It has helped me on my DU bending. Oh well, I haven't been working too hard at it for very long. I'll figure it out. Justin
