don chi
Finally had some success on the BBSM today. Choked it down to an inch and got 8 singles out of it. Got the click and grind every time. So I moved it out to 1 1/8" and clicked it hard twice. Moved it out to 1 1/4" and got it once more. At this point my hands were pretty tired but moved it out to 1 3/8" and missed by a bit. All in all a good effort, better than I've done to this point. It feels great to have a little progress.

bunchofbananas
People have different ways. Some use hose clamp, some use board of wood with hole cut in it. Your hand would not really suffice as that would be more like a set.

don chi
Thanks a lot boys it helps a lot! I use a hose clamp Richie. I find that I can chart my progress better that way. Once I can get out pretty wide then I can use a set if I want. Plus all my effort can be on closing the gripper and not on getting a good set. It helps me just being able to squeeze.
