Slider454
Well guys I will sit back and watch all your accomplishments while I wait on the sidelines....I did accomplich my goal of bending the red nail...however I will never be able to certify cause everytime I get strong enough to bend the red something happens and sets me back..this time I have hurt my shoulder pretty good on my right arm and im tired of living with the constant pain I have in my shoulders from the DO style of bending...I will switch all my focus on grip training and levering after my shoulder heals I thank all yall for the usefull advice you gave and for the encouragement but i am having to give up the bending bug for now!!! Slider454
I hope not man. Maybe you just need a break. I hope so man...I think that I bend to much and this is what leads to my injuries...I would love nothing more than to be certified on the red but at least I have taken down 5 of the suckers in regulation time...but im nowhere near that at the moment. gazza
Troy Why not just concentrate on Du while your shoulder heals.Just trying to get as big a kink as you can each time, but leave out the crush part to save your shoulders then when your ready to return fully you should be a whole lot stronger and you wont have to give up the addiction
kerbjr
Had a similar problem with my shoulders, and had to give up benching. My body just couldnt deal with both at the same time. As soon as I quit benching my shoulders healed up and my bending consistency improved. Never was a great bencher anyway....Brett
Alawadhi
I hope your shoulder heals up soon. I really mean it.
smp76
Heal up and come back stronger. Two shoulder reconstructions later and I am still bending. Do not count yourself out just yet. Rest, refocus, accomplish other goals in the meantime, and come back rock solid and full of fire!!! -Sean
Jedd Johnson
Troy, I respect your decision, but I encourage you to research the web for shoulder injury rehab and I am willing to bet you can get it fixed. After recovery, maybe train another technique and get your name on the list. -Jedd-
