gerryg
I was just wondering if anyone has ordered kettle bells from dragondoor.com? How was the shipping time and overall service? http://www.dragondoor.com/ Edited July 11, 2006 by gerryg

anson
Might want to build your own before you invest the big bucks. Do a search, lots of info and they're not hard to make using steel pipe fittings.
bentpresser
You may want to test drive some kettlebells before ordering, to get a better idea of your strength. Also, and I have used many different brands and I'm not being paid to say this, but Iron Woody makes very good quality bells now for a few bucks less. Trust me, I'm very picky, and these are quality bells. Dragon Door has a damn fine product too.

NHBBareKnuckler
I read that strength trainnig book Pavel wrote, honestly there isn;t a whole lot in there we wouldn't know. But it still had a lot of really good info otherwise and I have been using a few ideas as far as lifting. And yeah I got stronger. So I give them a thunbs up. Let me knwo how you like the book, I was going to order that same one.
bentpresser
On reading, the article archive at DD is free and many of the articles are very informative on strength & cond., kettlebells, bodyweight training, etc. and in many ways apply and extend what the books talk about. Scott Styles
I've read a couple of his books, they are fun, but not worth retail price. If you're looking for good instructional material, Steve Cotter's KB encyclopedia is actually worth the $100 it costs. Extremely thorough and no BS. The Chuck
Steve is an incredibly nice dude and an animal with the kettlebells. I watched him do a set of VERY fast one legged squats with TWO 70lbs bells in the clean position at a KB seminar put on by Mike Mahler. He didnt even look like he was trying either, very humbling.
