Justin Reagan Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 I've been buying a few horseshoes so that I can work up to bending the ones that I got for free... I've been bending a few St. Croix #2 Ultra-lite shoes. I'm getting better at it. I've now bought some #2 Polo, as I've heard that these would be next up in progression. I've only tried one after I bent one of the others, and I couldn't really do anything with it. I've found the hardest part of the bend is from halfway bent (when viewed from the side, looks like a right angle) to the end. Trying to bend it from here over the thigh requires putting my wrists into funny positions. When doing the initial bend, I just can't get it any further than halfway. Oh well, I'll get it down eventually. Expensive to buy them like this, but hopefully I'll be able to do some of those used ones eventually. Fun stuff! Justin Quote
