Bench Shirts

Just a quick question, who is making the best bench shirts out there, and how mush are you guys getting out of them?

I'm getting back into powerlifting after about 4yrs off so I'm a little behind on new equipment.

RageX from inzer or Fury from Titan. I think Titan also has a new one coming out. The F6 Fury is the ebst if you are a big archer.

This is assuming a single ply shirt.

At the very least, you chould get 100 pounds. 200-250 is possible.

If that was true of my worn, 3rd hand Blast, that would give me a raw max of 79 kilos...

:rock

We'll see what I can do with one of your 2nd hand Fury's, Bob.

The guys that are getting 250 lbs out of a single ply titan shirt are what we call gear whores. Most likley they have the shirt two sizes two small and get about 40 lifts in it before it is trashed.

Single ply shirts don't last long, Especially when you have them super tight, But most polyester shits have to be worn tight to get something out of them, I have heard people refer to the titan fury as a disposable shirt before.

I have seen people use the F6 with absolutley no arch at all, It's not about arch its more about bar placement, If you arch alot you will most likley be forced to touch the bar lower, But you can still touch low without a large arch.

With that being said I think you should choose from these shirts,

Inzer rage - no arch/touching higher

Inzer ragex - touching lower/arching

titan fury - no arch/touching higher

titan F6 - touching lower/arching

Titan has come out with the new "katana" which is basicly the same thing as the fury and f6 but thicker material and the stiching and sleve angleing is diffrent, You can get the katana in a flat back version or arching version.

Hope this helped some....

LOL Bob!

I can get 125-150 out of my custom Metal. About 100-125 out of a single Ply Fury. course, my triceps arent strong enough to handle more. I would think in the custom metal, 200-250 would be easy.

I have 3 Titan Fury's for sale, barely used. 1 is a 48, the other 2 are 50s. I would even be willing to unload my custom Metal-open back, velcro. Pm me.

Wait, I thought that I was on the GripBoard!?

You have to hold onto the bar, don't you? That's gotta take SOME kind of grip. :D

:whacked:whacked You guys are getting anyware form a 100 to 250lbs. out of these new bench shirts, that unbeleivable. I'm throwing my old Inzer blast shirt in the trash, I never even got 50lbs out of it, and Its tight (it takes two guys to get me into it). I have a good arch a use low bar placement. I have benched 365-370 raw but have never hit over 400 with my shirt. I think I bought it 1998 or 99, the first shirt Inzer sent me for my measurements ripped on the first set,so they sent me one size larger. I used to lift in the 242's and now I'm sittin at 260 so the shirt is really tight. I think its time to break the piggy bank and buy a new forklift :whistel I mean bench shirt.

I may not want to know the answer to this but I will ask anyway how much are you guys getting out of your squat and deadlitf suits. :unsure
