Just Started Bending

A while back, I posted about getting a blue my first time bending and then I kinda got out of it. Well, today I decided to I'd like to start bending seriously and went to the hardware store and got about 10 60d's and some stuff called 60 d polebarns as well as these black ridged ones that are 6x1/4. I warmed up with one of the polebarns, and it was real easy, but snapped on the crushdown. Then I went to the 60d's. Found out I can bend these without too much difficulty. Bent a couple of them and warmed down with another polebarn. How good are 60d's for a beginner? The only things I've ever bent were a couple of IM nails that I freeloaded off a friend just to see if I could (a yellow, blue and a 5x1/4 in CRS and some misc CRS).

Wes, you're definitely a natural! What brand of 60d was it? They do vary considerably in strength.

Don't really know what brand, it was just in a bin at the hardware store, however it did seem to be a bit harder than the blue I tried. It's kinda hard to tell though when you're using a hanky for padding, as the pain is pretty bad :blink
